Consent Resolutions
Both the Commissioner and the certificate holder involved in a disciplinary matter
have the opportunity to suggest that a matter be resolved in a consent resolution
prior to a citation being issued.
This process is utilized when the Commissioner has determined that the facts require
some action against the individual’s certificate or certain conditions on his or
her practice. It is a voluntary process that results in a written agreement on the
facts and the outcome as they relate to the certificate holder’s practice.
Consent resolution agreements will be made public on the
Discipline Outcomes page of this site, unless that would cause significant
hardship to a person who was harmed by the certificate holder. If the outcome is
the suspension or cancellation of certificate for the certificate holder in question,
that information will be recorded on the
Online Registry.
